Hello and Welcome!

I’m Meghan Field, founder of Sacred Kernow, a growing women’s community here in Cornwall.

My work is rooted in the belief that women need places where we can gather, remember who we are and reconnect with the things that modern life so often pulls us away from: our bodies, our intuition, the natural world, our creativity, our communities and each other.

Through women’s circles, retreats, workshops, pilgrimage, movement, ritual and ceremony, I create spaces for women to explore what it means to live more deeply connected to ourselves, community, the land, our lineage and a sense of spirit.

My work draws from seasonal and cyclical living, embodiment, mythology and folklore, goddess traditions, earth-based spirituality and the old practices of women gathering together. It is deeply rooted in Cornwall and the landscape I live and work upon, while also honouring the many stories, traditions and lineages that have shaped me.

Alongside this, I have spent more than 25 years working to end violence against women and girls. Feminism, social justice and women’s liberation aren't separate from my spiritual work. For me, the personal, political and sacred have always belonged together.

Sacred Kernow is where this comes to life through gathering around the fire, sitting in circle, walking to a holy well, making things with our hands, moving our bodies, sharing stories, being with the uncomfortable, through celebrating, remembering, laughing, eating together and marking the changing seasons and the changing seasons of our own lives.
