Qoya + Sound Therapy at TreeSpace

  • TreeSpace Hindhead United Kingdom (map)

In this workshop, surrounded by the beauty of the Surrey hills, you are invited to come home to yourself through movement, meditation and relaxation. Together, we will dance an extended Qoya class, combining yoga, free movement, creative dance and breath work to connect with our essence as wise, wild and free.

We will explore the theme of vulnerability as a superpower of connection – to ourselves and others. We will tune into our bodies and see where feelings of vulnerability live in our mind, body and soul and what holds us back from authentic connection.

We will be joined by Alison Cooper, who will offer a delicious sound bath to support the integration of the messages of the Qoya class. For an hour you will be bathed in the most wonderful relaxing sounds where you may or may not be taken on your own journey, often people just fall asleep. Sound bathing calms overstimulated nervous systems and brings everything into balance and harmony with the sound and vibrations permeating every cell of your body. You may become more aware of your own thoughts and emotions and if you struggle to meditate on your own then you will love this easy way to reach deep relaxation.

Being bathed in the sound of Tibetan Sound Bowls can help with depression, anxiety, pain, insomnia, releasing trauma and grief and much more! It is an empowering experience which gives the mind, body, soul and spirit opportunity to find healing, wisdom, joy and bliss. You will leave feeling restored, re-balanced and relaxed.

*Sound baths are not recommended if you have a pacemaker or experience epilepsy. It is your responsibility to check sound baths are suitable for you to attend, I recommend that you always check with your doctor if in doubt.
